OEM & National Accounts Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The OEM and National Accounts Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding sales and business opportunities with assigned OEM factory customers, and service offices. This role requires proactive customer management, project facilitation, and active participation in national and regional sales initiatives.
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT AND SALES EXECUTION
- Establish and maintain regular contact with decision makers in potential and existing customers, supported by a formalized work plan.
- Develop OEM account relationships based on a consultative sales approach.
- Develop, define and execute OEM Account Management Plans. Submit monthly forecasts to the Director of Sales. Forecast to address year-end sales by quarter, identification of major opportunities and competitive threats.
- Actively participate in overall growth initiatives and strategies across the Unites States market.
- Support OEM accounts directly and appropriately delegate/leverage Inside Sales & Technical Support when necessary.
- Determine and prepare quotations based on product selection according to established procedures.
- Demonstrate expertise in DriSteem advantage to overcome competitive pressures. Maintain awareness of competitors, their capabilities, prices, and sales/marketing strategies.
- Coordinate efforts with Regional Sales Managers, Marketing and Director of Sales in major sales strategies and DriSteem branding.
- Proactive in providing relevant departments with competitive insight to develop/enhance product features.
FACTORY PROGRAM AND PROJECT WINNING
- Facilitate successful achievement of the design specifications for new factory programs and projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Materials, Engineering, Product Marketing, Operations, Quality and Warranty.
- Train and educate sales and service teams, engage with national and regional management, participate in sales meetings, and provide support for joint sales calls and quotations.
IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT
- Ensure implementation schedules and support activities align with commitments to customers and company management.
PRODUCT AWARENESS AND SALES PLANNING
- Expand awareness of products through presentations and demonstrations.
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive sales plan, including opportunity mapping, target account, forecasting, sales strategies, and CRM activities.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support compliance of ISO 9001 standards and procedures.
- Act as a technical resource to customers to address and resolve inquiries and problems.
- Overall accountability for and ownership of US & Canada OEM product sales and Program Management
- Comply with company safety, health rules, and policies to promote safe work practices. Report any safety concerns to upper management.
- Contribute to a positive work atmosphere by collaborating with peers and participating in team engagement events.
- Requires ability to deliver PowerPoint presentations, travel via commercial airlines.
- Business travel typically equates to 50% of the month.
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience focused on HVAC or related industries.
- Technical or engineering background highly desirable.
- Demonstrated recent assertive and successful professional sales career experience.

- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide variety of customers, company personnel, and others.
- Strong analytical, administrative and organizational skills.
- Competence in Office Suite; specifically; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Read, analyze, interpret, problem solve general technical procedures, complex problems, customer specifications, or governmental regulations.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other employees of the organization.
- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume at an intermediate level.
- Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
COMPENSATION
This role offers a pay range of $83,098 – $123,828/annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
